THE CASA PATRONAL, or main farmhouse, is located in the heart of Lazos de Fraijanes, a new community that sits on a former cattle farm. Following the tradition of rooting buildings in place, this clubhouse evokes old farmhouses’ simple volume and incorporates large windows that overlook the large terraced park, and a vast valley with forests of extraordinary beauty.
The entry features a wooden porch, much like a traditional Guatemalan farmhouse would, and is preceded by a water fountain, inspired by old water troughs for horses.
